With a target audience of SMEs and entrepreneurs, this course gives participants an overview of the processes involved in raising various kinds of funds for their activities. It begins by looking at a few techniques to evaluate financial need. Then, it explores the differences between equity, grants and debt (both long and short-term), and details the various capital providers from which SMEs might raise funds. Finally, it concludes with a detailed examination of the process of securing funds, due diligence, and the post-funding relationship that you might want to build with your capital provider.
