National Export Strategy of Pakistan (2021-2026)

Welcome to the digital platform for the design of Pakistan’s National Priority Sectors Export Strategy!

About the International Trade Centre (ITC): ITC is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the United Nations (UN). It is the only multilateral agency fully dedicated to supporting the internationalization of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). ITC's mission is to foster inclusive and sustainable growth and development through trade and international business development.

About the National Priority Sectors Export Strategy (NPSES): ITC is the implementing agency of the ReMIT Programme in Pakistan, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). The design of a NPSES is a main component within this initiative. The NPSES will provide Pakistan with a set of sectoral and functional strategies, each specifying clear priorities and actions to improve trade performance.

Based on ITC’s inclusive and participative approach, a NPSES combines top-down and bottom-up design process to facilitate a truly National Vision. Within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NPSES design process will focus on setting priorities, deploy responses that enable continuity and resilience, chart recovery through scenario planning, and build for sustainable growth
