From Exports to Employment – Calculating Trade-Led Job Creation

In the context of the “EU – Iran Trade Development: Trade-related technical assistance, capacity building, and value chain development for inclusive and sustainable trade-led growth” project, a series of three workshops will be held to capacitate key trade policy, promotion and research institutions in Iran on identifying and leveraging trade opportunities.

In the context of the “EU – Iran Trade Development: Trade-related technical assistance, capacity building, and value chain development for inclusive and sustainable trade-led growth” project, a series of three workshops is being held to capacitate key trade policy, promotion and research institutions in Iran on identifying and leveraging trade opportunities:

- Workshop 1: Introduction to ITC’s Market Analysis Tools and Export Potential Map

- Workshop 2: From exports to employment – calculating trade-led job creation   

- Workshop 3: Advanced export potential assessment and trade policy modeling

After the success of Workshop 1 in November 2020, Workshop 2 will use the concepts learned in the first workshop in order to calculate trade-led job creation.

The workshop will be delivered virtually with half-day sessions spread over the course of three weeks.
