Organizing and Implementing Inward and Outward Investment Promotion Missions
This course, aimed at professionals working in Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs), is designed to teach the fundamentals of preparing for and delivering both inward and outward investment promotion missions.
The course begins with an overview of the structure of an investment promotion mission, placing particular focus on articulating the mission's purpose, objectives and outputs.
It then moves on to detail a mission's 5-stage lifecycle, and explains how to apply a variety project tools and perspectives to a set project management methodology (RASCI) to ensure efficient mission planning and management.
Finally, it concludes by looking at best practices for mission monitoring and measurement, not just in terms of its follow-up, but throughout its lifecycle.
