COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course will give pariticipants an understanding of how Social media platforms have significantly altered how individuals engage, communicate and engage in consumer decision-making processes and how this has created a wider market for SMEs performance can be achieved using authenticity and trustworthiness of social media influencers. It will further explain how some of the reasons influencer marketing is effective relating it to the relatable content and persona they create, which fosters trust and connection with their audience, known as Parasocial Interaction. It will further explain why it is recommended that SMIs should be authentic and trustworthy in every of their deals which leads to increase in SMEs performance in terms of profitability and large market share.
